Each support organization works together to accelerate the growth and development of small businesses throughout the greater Orlando region – all under one roof.
Our Story
The roots of our business extend back to 2003, when Orange County Government, The University of Central Florida, and The Walt Disney Company collaborated to launch our unified approach to growing our small business economy. Since we began, our resident business support organizations have coached and trained Central Florida businesses in record numbers, while creating a nationally-recognized center for small business development.
In 2011, we relocated to the Orlando Fashion Square Mall and built our award-winning indoor miniature city, where entrepreneurs and small businesses receive support and services that enable them to develop the strong business community that has kept Orlando as one of the best places in American for starting and growing a small business for over a decade!
Our Mission
We are dedicated to the development, growth, and success of small businesses. Through a cooperative effort of a diverse group of organizations, we offer easy access to professional business assistance, quality educational programming, and practical industry expertise.

For every $1 invested in the NEC, the community receives $11.55 in economic impact!
Our Investors
Our investors are the catalyst to our entrepreneur center’s success. It is their vision and financial support that started the NEC and continues to keep it operating today. Multiple non-profit support organizations and thousands of small businesses invest in our collaborative model each year.
Investors are the catalysts to our center’s success. It is their vision and financial support that started the National Entrepreneur Center, and it is that vision and support that continue to drive our operation today. Investors indirectly help the community through their financial commitment, and they also provide the overall strategy for our small business community as a member of our Executive Board. Won’t you consider investing with us? You'll be glad you did.
